About: Dr. Mudassar Iqbal Arain is a Pharmacy Practice Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan. He specializes in clinical pharmacy practice and education. He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2011 from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Sindh in Jamshoro, Pakistan. Afterwards he completed a Ph.D. in from the same institution. Dr. Arain has over 99 peer review publications, and has presented in many national and international conferences. He has received several distinguished awards including the Best Research Award from the University of Sindh in 2019. Dr. Arain also received a grant from the Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission Start-up Research grant. He was International Faculty Scholar at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and exploring new partnerships, scholarly activities and research opportunities. He was engaged in biochemistry, drug discovery and pharmacokinetics research training. Dr. Arain is currently engaged in Metabolomic studies as early research fellow in Kansas University
